Milwaukee Brewers run line -1.5 runs (-120) vs. Philadelphia Phillies 

The NL Central-leading Brewers (41-25) open a three-game set tonight against the Phillies (37-31), who are currently second place in the NL East. With an advantageous pitching matchup, we like the Brewers and the -1.5 run line at bet365 Sportsbook (-120). 

Andrew Painter (1-7, 6.21 ERA, 1.57 WHIP) goes for the Phillies after he gave up six runs in his last start. He also surrendered four in the previous one, lasting a total of eight innings over those two outings. The Phillies have lost nine of Painter’s last 10 starts, including his last three, and they lost his last four road starts by at least two runs. 

While Painter has an ERA north of 6.00 and his days in the Phillies rotation may be numbered, the Brewers send out Jacob Misiorowski (7-2, 1.50 ERA, 0.81 WHIP), who is in the Cy Young race. The Brew Crew have won his last four starts, allowing a grand total of two runs over his last seven.

Atlanta Braves moneyline (-101) @ New York Mets 

The Braves (45-23) have lost two in a row, but still have the best record in the Majors. They had yesterday’s game postponed, so they got an extra day of rest. The Mets (30-38) had lost two in a row before a win in their last game, and they have the third-fewest wins in the NL. 

New York starter Nolan McLean (3-4, 3.98 ERA, 1.11 WHIP) has only given up one run in each of his last two starts, but 16 in the two starts before that. 

Spencer Strider (4-1, 4.00 ERA, 1.28 WHIP) has given up three runs in three of his last four starts, and faces a Mets’ lineup that ranks tied for 27th in runs scored. 

The Braves are 6-1 in Strider’s seven starts, and the Mets are 4-8 in McClean’s 12 starts. Take the Braves as the slight underdogs here. 

Chicago Cubs vs. San Francisco Giants SGP
