The system that ALC (Atlantic Lottery Corporation) have been using up to now is called INTELLIGEN. ALC and IGT have been in business together since early in 1982 with IGT supplying VLTs since 1990. This long standing partnership has proved fruitful for both parties and as a result has seen a contract extension between the two. This contract renewal has come off the back of a very successful financial year for IGT who saw a 74% rise in their generated revenues in the month of August in comparison to their previous year. They are continuing to release more products as well, namely their Digital and Business segment.
In addition to their contract renewal with IGT, ALC have also introduced their full service player self-service lottery kiosk. This innovative new technology will be released across 3,000 locations in Canada that include New Brunswick, Novascotia and Newfoundland.
