For me, the attraction to working on PlayersBest.com was instantaneous. Finally, a website that was going to do things differently, offering a genuinely unique perspective with every word penned by those who truly understand the igaming world.
Good day, new recruits. From this moment on, you’re part of my cyberspace fleet. I have to warn you that the mysteries of the betting universe can be even stranger than you ever imagined.
The good news though, is that in that vastness are peculiarities of the most creative and spectacular kind. To demonstrate this, today we’ll be looking at CS:GO roulette sites. More specifically, we’ll be examining CS:GO roulette strategy, so you know how best to approach this most cosmic of markets.
If you’re reading this, I imagine you’re already aware of the hugely popular first-person shooter e-Sport Counter Strike: Global Offensive. And if not, perhaps you just wanted to check out something new. In which case, I salute you and your inquisitive nature – you’ll make a fine addition to the team.
I imagine, too, that you know what roulette is. As the title would suggest, this is where those two worlds collide. But this isn’t just a case of a roulette game with a CS:GO skin on it, although graphical touches are appreciated. It’s actually the CS:GO roulette skins in the game that are being traded for and used as currency instead of casino chips.
Skins, for the uninitiated, are cosmetic changes to your in-game weapons. That’s what makes this version of roulette so interesting: it’s a game within a game. Just to be absolutely clear, this version of roulette does not see you play for real money. That’s the first key distinction for you to understand. You’re gambling with skins, not cash.
The second thing to understand is that we’re not talking about a single game here. There are multitudes and it includes any roulette game which trades skins for CS:GO counts, with several dozen being available at the time of writing. They’re like a large selection of parallel betting universes, all operating in the same way generally but in different directions.
However, roulette doesn’t require a degree in astrophysics, so you should be pretty comfortable with what you find here. The main distinction is usually appearances or the amount of numbers on the wheel, which is often less than your standard traditional roulette wheel. It’s a wonderful mixture of a unique idea which uses a loved and commonly understood game as its base.
The CS:GO Roulette Tips and Tricks Blueprint
As the roulette options for CS:GO can differentiate from the traditional Earth versions known as American and European roulette, I’ve chosen strategies which work just as well on variations found on different CS:GO roulette sites. With that in mind, here’s five of my favourites.
Reverse D’Alembert Strategy
As you may have guessed, I’m all about safety. From putting on your space helmet to navigating your roulette strategy, it’s always best to be prepared. Now, no kind of gambling is entirely safe and you should never bet more than you can afford to lose. That’s as fundamental as gravity. However, this is considered one of the safest strategies out there. Unlike rocket science, the beauty of this is in its simplicity.
You bet on even chances (red/black, even/odd). You gradually increase your bet by a predetermined ‘unit’, increasing it by one when you lose and decreasing that amount by one when you win. The unit is up to you, but experts advise less than 1% of your total funds. The key to the appeal of this one is that even with as many wins as losses, you still come out with a profit.
But always remember, even with the safest option, a big losing streak is always possible. The other downside to this is that the profits are small, which is the price you pay for one of the more conservative roulette strategies. All in all though, this system is easy to understand, utilise and can prove effective.
This is perhaps the most famous betting strategy of them all – not just in roulette but across betting strategies in general – even martians have likely heard of this one. There’s plenty in common with the D’Alembert strategy. First off, we’re betting on even markets again. Yet again, you’ll want to bet small unless you have very deep pockets. So, what’s the difference?
Well, instead of going up and down by units, you instead double your stake with every losing bet to cover those losses. Lose again and again, and you keep doubling to cover the losses. As soon as you win, you are back to square one in terms of your funds. But when you win, you keep those winnings. Because on evens odds, the law of averages means it must eventually land on the other possibility, this means that as long as you can cover the losses, you should end up in profit.
However, that’s the key caveat here: if you can cover your losses. Remember that when you’re doubling your bet with each loss, those losses can get to very high levels. That’s why you should work out how much you could reasonably cover before going forward with this strategy. Once again, the need for small stakes to cover those losses means this may be successful, but your profit margins will be modest.
Grand Martingale Strategy
This is like the regular Martingale strategy turned up a few notches. It’s like taking a telescope and maxing the magnification, so you’re looking at the same thing, just considerably bigger. The difference here is all down to the stakes you’re using – as the name would suggest, they are quite a bit bigger. Or at least, they will be should you fall upon a losing streak.
Bet exactly as you would with the regular Martingale system but when you lose, double your bet and also add an extra amount equal to the original stake. The same logic is still the backbone here – that eventually, the losing streak will break. However, the potential losses you would need to cover on a losing streak is much higher to go alongside the possible winnings.
This could work if you have a lot of funds to back up the CS:GO roulette strategy and you want to increase your eventual profit margins. As always though, if you can’t cover your losses, you stand to lose the lot.
People often mistake this for the Reverse Martingale system, because that’s more famous and they’re so similar. However, it’s actually a safer version of similar logic. Think of it like how asteroids look the same from afar but when you get closer, the details are quite distinct. As you may expect from a strategy that’s so similar to Martingale, this is based on even bets once more. Again too, it’s all about doubling stakes. This time though, you double your stake after each win.
The key difference between this and a reverse Martingale is that strategy has no set time to stop, while Paroli limits it to three times in a row. This cuts off the instinct to keep going indefinitely, which is really important. Remember, the gambler who will play as long as they are winning must eventually lose. That’s why the three wins progression system here is so important.
Just as important is that you don’t go beyond your initial stake, at least in a single run. You can break your money into several runs if you wish but having key cut offs – in the amount you stake and the amount that you’ll walk away at – provides structure and ensures you’re always in control of your potential losses.
Plus, it’s a fast and entertaining way of playing the game which doesn’t require a huge amount of time to win, or indeed, a huge amount of money to cover losses. The chance of losing though is higher than many other strategies.
All In Strategy
There’s perhaps nothing sophisticated about this is strategy. You can probably understand it from the title alone. There’s not much thought into it – it’s certainly no kind of “system”. But, sometimes you just want to go for it. Set the boosters on maximum and see what happens.
Yes, the All In CS:GO roulette strategy is where you take all of the skins you wish to bet and put it all on the line in a single stroke. This is often associated with people risking silly amounts of money and that’s obviously not what I’m suggesting here. Once again, never bet more than you’re willing to lose. As long as the amount you’ve wagered is sensible, this can be a really enjoyable way to play roulette.
The key here is keeping the stake amount comfortable, as there’s no recourse here if it fails, and never chase losses. If you go all in and you lose, then those stakes are gone. You need to be aware of that before you start. It may not be the most sophisticated, but it also might be the purest form of the game.
Conclusion: A Familiar Betting Atmosphere
While there are potential variations in the CS:GO version of roulette, the core concepts should overwhelmingly remain the same. The thing which really makes this different is what you’re playing for. Once again, it’s where you trade CS:GO roulette skins for coins and that’s your currency. Still, the principles remain the same in this classic game. You’ll still have an amount you’re comfortable with losing, and you should never go beyond that amount.
Most importantly, many of the same strategies should work for CS:GO roulette in overwhelmingly the same way. We hope this shows you that as weird and wonderful as the betting galaxies may seem, ultimately, they share common cosmic laws which can make them easy for you to understand.
