Suns vs. Mavericks

The Suns have been one of the top teams all year and the Mavericks are starting to play good basketball after getting off to a slow start. The Mavericks are currently in the 5th seed and are a team to keep an eye on at the trade deadline. Bulls vs Bucks

The Bulls have a big matchup vs. the Cavs later this week

The Bulls struggled last week against the Warriors on national TV but will have another shot against the Bucks on the road on Friday night. The young Bulls don’t have the same type of playoff experience that the Bucks or other contenders like the Sixers or Heat do so it will be interesting to see if the Bulls can sustain their level of play as we get deeper into the playoffs and the pressure mounts. The Bucks were knocking on the door for 3-4 years before they finally broke through to win the title last year.

Players to watch at Deadline

Ben Simmons-Sixers

Simmons has been on the market for over a year but the Sixers have stood firm in their stance that they want an impact player back in return. With the Sixers playing good basketball, the odds that Simmons gets moved in the next few weeks is very high as they try to make a push toward the top of the Eastern Conference standings in the back half of the season. Keep an eye on the Mavericks, Lakers, or Spurs as teams that could end up landing Simmons.

Eric Gordon-Rockets

The Rockets are in rebuilding mode and Gordon is one asset that could be plug and play for most contenders. Gordon is one of the best three points shooters in the league and has played in some big playoff games in the past so he will be a coveted player by teams looking to boost their shooting down the stretch.

The Kings Roster

D\aron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton, and Buddy Hield are all on the trading block as the Kings look to blow up their roster in hopes of getting more depth to contend next season. Fox is averaging 20 points a game and is playing great basketball and could shine if he gets traded to a big market team like the Knicks, Lakers, or Celtics.
