Week 6 of the NFL season kicked off last night with the Tampa Bay Bucs beating the Eagles 28-22 on the road. Tom Brady threw for 297 yards and 2 TDS as the Bucs are 5-1 and now the favorite to win the Super Bowl once again.
It’s been a bit of an unpredictable season so far in the NFL so we should see plenty of surprises again this weekend. The top games that standout are the 5-0 Cardinals traveling to Cleveland to face the explosive Browns, and a battle of 4-1 teams as the Chargers travel to Baltimore to face the Ravens.

The Bengals should bounce back against the Lions
The Bengals are only 3.5 point favorites on the road at the Detroit Lions and this number seems way too low as the Bengals will be looking to bounce back after their disappointing loss to Green Bay last week. At 0-5 the Lions will likely start to mail it in and shoot for the # 1 pick in the NFL draft next year.
Pick: Bengals to Cover
The Giants host the Rams on the East Coast and I think the 9 points the Rams are getting is way too high of a number. The Giants have been playing teams close all year and have had some bad luck with injuries early in the year. The Giants stadium is notoriously windy and I think that will slow down the Rams offensively and keep this game relatively close. I still like the Rams to win, but I like the Giants to cover in this one in something like a 27-20 Rams Win.
Pick: Giants Cover
The Chargers should be able to keep Lamar Jackson in check
The game of the week between two high-powered offenses should be a must-watch event. The Ravens come into the game winners of four straight after losing the opener and the Chargers are riding high after a big win over the Browns. The Ravens have been highlight-worthy but they have not had not nearly as difficult of a schedule as the Chargers have and I think the Chargers have the better top to bottom overall roster. I like the Chargers to go into Baltimore and keep Lamar Jackson in check and to come away with a close win.
Pick: Chargers to Win
The Browns are favored by 3.5 points at home over the undefeated Cardinals squad which is surprising considering the Cardinals 5-0 record. The Cardinals will be motivated to show the rest of the league their fast start is not a fluke and need to keep their foot on the gas in the super-competitive NFC West. I like the Cardinals to pull the upset on the road and stay undefeated.
Pick: Cardinals Win
The Panthers will be looking to bounce back after two straight losses
The Vikings have been in almost every game this season despite their 2-3 record and head into the matchup with the Panthers as a surprising road favorite over the Panthers. Christian McCaffrey is out for the Panthers and will surely be missed, but I like the Panthers to figure out a way to get the win at home and get back on track with Sam Darnold having a bounce-back game.

Joe Burrow is quietly having a very solid season in Cincinnati and should have a good shot at making the Pro Bowl if the Bengals can stay competitive all year. I like Burrow to have a big day in the air on the road in Detroit at Ford Field. Burrow plays most of his games in windy Cincinnati so the Bengals offense should be able to take advantage of the Lions poor secondary in the dome.
The Cowboys should be in for a slugfest on the road in New England as the Pats try to slow down the Cowboys’ passing attack. I like Zeke to have a big game on the ground in this matchup as he has looked like he is finally in good shape and has been consistent so far this year.
