Teams like Miami, St. Bonaventure, Colorado, & St. John’s are all looking out, but could keep their hopes alive with a good finish, and/or conference tournament. Some teams can survive a late season skid because of a great early season like Xavier and Michigan State. Rutgers vs Indiana
The battle in the Big 10 to see who will make it in March Madness. The Scarlet Knights will have to travel to Bloomington, Indiana to face the Hoosiers. Rutgers won four straight games against ranked Big 10 rivals including Illinois and Wisconsin. Rutgers had the momentum to make a late push into the tournament, but they have lost their last three games and need back to back wins (Indiana and Penn State) to have a legitimate shot in the tournament. Rutgers vs Indiana is a must win for the Scarlet Knights.
Indiana started the season out strong, but since the New Year they have won only eight of their last sixteen games. This includes a five game losing streak to Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Ohio State, & Northwestern. Luckily, the Hoosiers have bounced back with a little two-game winning streak against Minnesota and Maryland to gain their confidence back, but likely they will need to win at least one of their last three games to make it into March Madness. Rutgers vs Indiana is a must win for the Hoosiers.
