Week 12 in the NFL filled our plates with three games on Thanksgiving. First off the Chicago Bears played the Detroit Lions. The Lions lost again, this time by a last second field goal while time expired. The Bears didn’t look particularly good with Dalton under center, but good enough to beat a winless Lions squad. The afternoon game was a blockbuster shootout between the robbers and cops (Raiders and Cowboys). The Raiders ended up getting a win in overtime against a solid Dallas team 36-33. The Raiders are now 6-5 and keep a playoff chance alive, while humbling the Cowboys to a 7-4 record forcing the NFC East closer than it needs to be. Carlson, the kicker for the Raiders, should get the game ball. He kicked five field goals including the game winning field goal.
The last game of the night had the Bills dominate the Saints in the Big Easy. The Saints struggled with only 1.9 yards on the ground from their running backs. Despite 2 interceptions, Allen played well, especially in the 2nd half. Allen ended up throwing for 260 yards and four TDs to sink the Saints to a 31-6 final.

Week 12 DFS Picks
QB Cam Newton (CAR)
How bizarre to think of Newton as a fantasy relevant QB in 2021, however he looked surprisingly good rushing and throwing the ball last week. This week the Panthers are up against the Dolphins, who struggle with defending both quarterbacks and wide receivers. Therefore, look for Newton to find playmakers like Moore and all-around-stud McCaffrey to help fluff Newton’s numbers with yards after the catch.
RB James Robinson (JAX)
The Jaguars are not in many positive game scripts, yet Robinson still gets plenty of touches. This week the Jags are playing the Falcons who are the 4th worst at defending the run. Robinson, finally healthy, should bounce back from last week’s performance against the struggling Falcons.
WR Brandon Aiyuk (SF)
Aiyuk appears to finally be out of Coach Shanahan’s doghouse. Last week Aiyuk nabbed seven receptions for 85 yards and a score. The 49ers are facing the Vikings this week, who are the league’s worst at defending receivers. It shouldn’t be hard for Aiyuk to stay fantasy relevant the rest of the year, especially against the Vikings.
TE Rob Gronkowski (TB)
The Buccaneers face the Colts, who are 6th worst against defending tight ends. The game script should lead to a shootout. So much so that Vegas is predicting an over under on total points at a whopping 52.5. Look for Brady to find his favorite target in the end zone and all over the field against Indianapolis.

The Bengals take on division rival Steelers in Week 12 action
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals (+3.5/-190)
The 6-4 Bengals host the 5-4-1 Steelers in this Week 12 rivalry game between these two AFC North teams. The argument could be made for all four of the AFC North teams could be division winners, but the Steelers look more like the odd man out. This is because of seasoned Big Ben at quarterback and a weak offensive line unit. The Steelers are in the bottom half of the league in defending both running backs and wide receivers. On the other hand, the Bengals’ defense has been quietly good holding receivers in check along with quarterbacks and tight ends. The Bengals should win this game by 7-10 points with big games from Mixon and Chase.
Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5/O 45.5 Total Points) at New York Giants
The Eagles offense seems to have found their groove with two consecutive blowout wins against the Broncos and the Saints. The Giants are looking bad in the red zone, and just can’t stop running backs or tight ends anywhere on the field. To make matters worse the Giants will be without rookie wide out Toney. The Eagles should score over 30 and win handily against the Giants.
