Few promos found during our Crypto.com Prediction Markets review
Like most prediction market sites, Crypto.com isn’t exactly overflowing with special offers. However, we did find an interesting Crypto.com referral code deal that we covered in a separate guide. Well worth a look, as it could give you up to 12 months of trading with free commissions and plenty more bonus credit, too.
Editor's Note
It might be a little underwhelming to find that Crypto.com doesn’t have too many bonuses for prediction markets. That’s just the way it is with these kinds of sites, and it definitely shouldn’t stop you from having plenty of fun with that referral program. A good reason for getting a little more social in how you use this site.
What users say about Crypto.com promos
Curious about what users say about Crypto.com promos and bonuses?
Ridiculously low trading fees compared to rival platforms – and all trades were processed within seconds!
Valuable referral code deal provided a realistic opportunity to claim 12 months of commission-free trading as well as bonus credits to spend.
Was impressed by the sheer volume of trading markets available here; several niche and popular events were supported daily.
The site remained stable during popular events, with no lagging or crashing to report.
Mobile customer support was especially helpful on mobile, as live chat functionality allowed for near-instant assistance from helpful staff.
Although the brand offered a rewards program, prediction markets trading did not apply to any ongoing deals.
No live chat option on desktop slowed the contact process – most users would be better off using the mobile app.
Was constantly worried the site could be forced to leave the state due to new laws and local regulations.

Crypto.com Prediction Markets licensing: Understanding the regulations
So the first thing to understand here is that Crypto.com is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as an exchange. Such regulation is essential for any prediction-market site to operate in the U.S.
Currently, Crypto.com is available in most U.S. states, with only these notable exceptions:
- You cannot trade on any of Crypto.com's markets as a resident of New York or Arizona
- Residents in Nevada, Ohio, Michigan, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Illinois cannot trade on the site's sports event contracts.
I think it’s actually good that Crypto.com has withdrawn from these markets, as it shows the brand is being careful to comply with these states’ regulatory requirements. Plus, the brand has the following features on its site that should give you a secure and fair way to trade:
- SSL encryption to protect your potentially sensitive personal details and payments
- Guides about risk management when trading via the Crypto.com Learn resource
- Clear documentation regarding what fees and limits you may be up against
- United States of America CFTC - Commodity Futures Trading Commission Commodity Futures Trading Commission
Sponsored by Crypto.com – Not investment advice. Trading prediction markets and crypto involves risk, including potential loss of your stake. Consider your risk tolerance before participating. Crypto.com connects U.S. users to CDNA (regulated by CFTC) for derivatives trading. CDNA membership required. Trading may not be suitable for all—you could lose your entire investment plus fees. Past performance doesn't guarantee future results. This is not a solicitation or recommendation to trade.
Usability: How does Crypto.com work on a computer or mobile device?
I loved the cool, dark tones of the Crypto.com site, which stood in contrast to those of some other prediction market apps. It’s also nicely functional, although you will have to take a few clicks to get from the brand’s homepage to the main prediction markets section.
Here you’ll see that the sports markets are kept separate from the other events, but that it’s easy enough to switch between the two. For each prediction, you will get a page displaying the relevant event contracts, and you can check the price movements for each contract on the graph. There's also a little timeline that explains when the contract begins and ends, and you'll get a separate explanation for how the specific market works.
Note that Crypto.com also has excellent iOS and Android apps, although they primarily focus on the brand’s exchange. There’s actually a sister app called OG that is specific to the brand’s prediction markets. Plus, we should mention that Crypto.com’s site is very mobile-friendly and lets you trade in your device's browser without any downloads.
Our experience with customer service during the Crypto.com review
I liked that Crypto.com offers responsive English-language customer support you can reach instantly via the in-app chat feature. In addition, there is a dedicated email support address and an in-depth Help Center. Definitely a good place to look when you first start using the site.
- Live Chat No
- Email contact@crypto.com
Are there any rewards at Crypto.com?
So you might already know about the Rewards Hub at Crypto.com, which offers various benefits, rewards, and rebates based on your trading volume and other activities. While this is interesting, it's not directly applicable to the brand's prediction markets product, and so it’s not really worth discussing in much depth here.
Lots of prediction markets to enjoy at Crypto.com
Crypto.com may not have as many prediction market types as we found in our Polymarket review, but there should be more than enough for most people. So let’s take a closer look at the kinds of things that you could be making your predictions on.
Just note that these are all examples of what we found at the time of writing this review, and they will change to reflect the biggest questions of the day:
-
You'll be able to make your trades on all of the biggest sports, including soccer, baseball, football, basketball, golf, as well as anything from fighting and motor sports to sailing. We wrote this review when the FIFA World Cup was on, and we were able to make predictions on all the individual matches as well as enjoy futures for things like who'd be the tournament's top scorer, whether there would be a first-time winner, and so on.
-
I have yet to see any prediction market site that can match Crypto.com in terms of the crypto prediction markets that are covered. After all, you can make your predictions on the price movements of over a dozen coins including BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, DOGE, AVAX, LINK, DOT, SHIB, XLM, HBAR, SOL, ADA and XRP. What's truly impressive is how the brand lets you predict how the price of something like Bitcoin might move over the next five minutes. Plus, you can make many longer-range predictions, such as what the highest price of Solana will be today and so on.
-
At the time of writing this Crypto.com review, the focus of the brand's political prediction markets was on things like who the Senator would be in Iowa, Montana, Florida, and so on. However, you could also make your predictions for things like who the next Attorney General will be, whether the California Billionaire Wealth Tax Initiative would pass, and even which party would end up controlling the Senate later this year.
-
This is one of the most recently introduced kinds of prediction markets at Crypto.com, but you should be able to make your predictions on the biggest culture prediction markets from the worlds of music, movies, and TV. Key markets available at the time of writing this review concerned things like which would be the top song on Spotify this year, which video game would be the Game of the Year, and even who TIME's Person of the Year would be.
-
Tech prediction markets are surprisingly popular, and you should find all of the biggest talking points here at Crypto.com. This means that you could trade on when the OpenAI IPO date would be, who'd have the best AI model at the end of the month, or even whether GameStop would acquire eBay. Plus, with markets for things like which company will announce an IPO this year, there should be plenty to think about.
-
I'll admit that there weren't too many climate prediction markets available at the time of doing this review. This is because Crypto.com only let us buy event contracts for the question of where this year would rank among the hottest years on record. Still, there was enough to make us feel a little nervous about climate change.
-
Finally, we found that Crypto.com offers a good range of prediction markets concerning the latest economic developments. This means that you could make your predictions for things like whether there would be a U.S. recession by the end of the year, what the Fed decision would be this month, and even whether there would be more tech layoffs this year compared to last year.
Editor's Note
It should be pretty clear that Crypto.com has made an impressive entrance into the prediction markets realm. After all, it offers you a secure and simple way to make your trades, and there is a decent range of contracts on display. I look forward to seeing where the brand goes from here.
Crypto.com Prediction Markets review FAQ
Crypto.com keeps its fees simple: you will face a flat $0.02 exchange fee for both opening and closing a position. It's definitely a little easier to understand than some prediction market brands we can think of.
You can download the Crypto.com app from the App Store and Google Play. It’s free to download and should install automatically on your device in just a few seconds.
Yes, you can find Crypto.com on all the usual social media channels, like Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok. Worth a look if you fancy some funny memes and so on.
Pretty much, OG is the stand-alone prediction markets app operated by Crypto.com. Worth a look if you fancy the same prediction markets but without all of the extra features like the crypto exchange and so on.
You’ll have to be at least 18 years old to sign up to Crypto.com. This is the same minimum age limit we found in our Robinhood prediction markets review, and it should be the same at all other prediction market sites.
Final thoughts: Impressive performance in this Crypto.com review
We had plenty of fun at Crypto.com, and we think that you will too. This is because the brand has given you a streamlined way to get into the trading action, and there’s decent coverage of most topics, with a particular focus on sports and cryptocurrencies.
Of course, you will have to be careful in how you trade, as there will always be that element of risk. So, tap on any of the links for Crypto.com in the banners of this review to register your account, set your limits, and enjoy a great way to trade.
