Although we’d argue that web-based trading is the secondary medium here, we would still say it’s one of the most user-friendly prediction trading sites that we’ve ever used.

The app's usability takes things to the next level. The app is colorful, engaging, and extremely intuitive to use. You can use the icons on the main menu bar to browse different sports and leagues, as well as culture prediction markets where available.

Underdog offers prediction markets for a variety of sports leagues and events. Although there’s a heavy focus on North American pro leagues like the NBA, NFL, and MLB, you can also trade on European soccer matches, PGA golf, and combat sports like MMA. Additionally, there’s decent coverage of professional sports.

With each game, you’ll usually find a range of match winners, game props, and player props predictions. For example, you can buy Yes/No contracts on whether Kyle Stowers will record Under 1.5 hits in the Rangers' next MLB game. As mentioned earlier, there are also sports futures prediction markets that cover league winners, teams to make the playoffs, and player awards.

Sports event contract prices and payouts

The event contracts are always priced between $0.01 and $0.99 to reflect the market's real-time probability of the outcome. In other words, if traders believe the Rangers have a 60% chance of beating the Marlins, their “Yes” event contracts would cost $0.60 each.

If the Rangers went on to beat the Marlins, the market would resolve as "Rangers: Yes", and those contracts would close at $1. This would give you a $0.40 profit, minus the $0.02 per-contract trading fee, if you had bought and held these contracts to the event’s conclusion.

On the other hand, "Rangers: No" event contracts would close at $0 as the incorrect outcome. This means that if you were holding that event contract, you’d lose your entire stake, including the trading fees.
