AmPlay rating - what jumped out at me
If I am being completely honest, it definitely wasn’t the artistic direction of the AmPlay site that jumped out at me. I’m no Picasso, that’s for sure, but I felt like they could have done maybe a little more to make the site pop. However, aesthetics aside, the layout of the site is what really impressed me. Everything is laid out in an easy to use way which makes navigating around the site a real pleasure.
Aside from how well the site is laid out, it was the range of horse racing events that really impressed me. Horse racing Playing fans will not be short on options if they choose to sign up to AmPlay. I found just about every race you could think of from all the major races around the world to lesser known local events in the US. I’ve now picked out a couple of things that grabbed my attention over at AmPlay, but there is so much more to check out. So, let’s take a quick look at the Offers on offer, the fantastic loyalty program and where in the US you can play on AmPlay right now:
2 great Offers to choose from
AmPlay are clearly not messing around. When I checked out the site for the first time, I noticed that I could actually choose from 2 different Free Sweeps Coinses. Usually, you only really get one option when it comes to a new customer offer, so the fact that I had some diversity to choose from was pretty cool.
Anyway, I took a look at the first offer which was the smaller of the two. My AmPlay review found that you could claim up to $100 from a matched deposit offer. All you have to do to claim the maximum of $100, is make sure that you enter the welcome offer “100MATCH” during your sign up process. From there, you simply need to make a first deposit of $100 and then wager that $100 on any races of your choosing. Once you have Played your initial deposit, your account will then be credited with the $100 Offer. Pretty simple stuff really, I thought so anyway.
If you are feeling a little more adventurous than that, you can claim the much bigger Free Sweeps Coins of $500 instead. This Offer will always require that you enter in a welcome offer which is “500BONUS” during your sign up process. Something that I noticed about this welcome offer is that it works differently to the $100 option. Instead of receiving $100 as a deposit match, you’ll receive your $500 as cashback for playing on the site. You receive 10% cashback on all of your bets within the first 30-days of signing up to the site. So, if you want to receive the full $500 bonus, you’ll need to wager $5,000 Coins in your first month of playing on the site. I personally found the maximum Offer to be a little rich for my blood so I only opted to wager around $2,000 total but the choice is completely in your hands. If you want to claim the full amount, simply Play $5,000 during the course of the month.
The great thing that I found with my AmPlay review of these Offers was that there didn’t seem to be any steep Play amount requirements. All you really have to contend with is the time limit of 30-days. Aside from that, you are free to claim and use your bonus as you see fit which I found to be a big plus. Don’t get me wrong, Free Sweeps Coinses are great and claiming them upon entering a site is always an exciting start. However, if you plan on playing with a site for a long time then it’s nice to know that there are additional incentives for you to play for. This can be done in the way of promotions or in this case, an exciting loyalty program. If there is one thing that I have noticed with these loyalty programs in the past, it’s that they can be overly tricky to understand with a ridiculous points reward system and a confusing system of claiming rewards. The loyalty program currently in place is all about cashback. I noticed that a lot of the rewards on the site seem to be cashback based which I’m actually a really big fan of. Anyway, your rewards will vary depending on how often you play and Play on the site. Either way, you will receive cashback to some degree whether you are playing for hours every day or just a handful of hours every week as cash back amounts are deposited every single day. As you can see, there is really nothing complicated about the way that players can receive cashback. The reason I loved this rewards program so much is because even the little guy is getting something out of it. AmPlay gambling license and limits
Before I even think about creating an account with any online gambling site in the US, I personally like to make sure that the site has at least been issued with a legitimate gambling license from one of the official gambling regulatory bodies in the US. I scoped out the AmPlay site, read through the site’s terms and conditions and had a look at the bottom of the homepage to see who had issued them with their gambling license. This would hopefully give me some peace of mind when answering the question “is AmPlay legit?”
As you can play AmPlay in so many different states in the US it would stand to reason that the site would have to receive a license from a number of different gambling commissions. And they have done just that as they have currently received a license from all of these racing commissions:

So, that clears up the question of “is AmPlay legit?” but that isn’t necessarily enough for me to want to just jump straight into creating my account just yet. I like to make sure that these sites are at least in some way geared towards player autonomy and protection. Luckily, I found that players at AmPlay could set their own daily, weekly, and monthly Playing and deposit limits. In addition to this, they have a page dedicated to responsible gambling where they have links to plenty of different helpful organizations that deal with gambling addiction.
Creating your AmPlay account
Now that I have shown you that AmPlay is a pretty legitimate site that is covered by all the right gambling commissions, the next step in the process would be to start getting your hands on these juicy new customer offers. I created my own AmPlay account to show you what the signup process is like and what you’ll need to do during each step.
Take a look in the top right-hand corner of the homepage where you will see the “join for free” button. Follow that link. From there, you’ll be taken to the first page of the signup process where you will enter in your email address and password. This first step is vital to you claiming one of the 2 new customer offers as this is where you will need to enter in your welcome offer. So, if you fancy either of the 2 Offers this is where you’ll decide which one you want to claim. Once you have completed this step, AmPlay then sends you an email that you need to verify.
Then you come to the final phase of your sign up process. I then had to enter in some information about myself, specifically, my name, surname, date of birth, cell phone number, address, country of origin, state, city, and zip code. I then had to enter in my last 4-digits of my social security number as well. Once I had filled all of that in, my account was then authorized and ready to go. All I really had to do from there was fund my account, but we’ll touch on that process shortly.
Payment options at AmPlay
If you are like me at all then you will have preferences when it comes to making deposits and withdrawals. That is why I took my AmPlay in the direction of the available payment methods on the site. I found that I could make deposits and Redeemals to and from my account using any of these options: MasterCard/Visa, ACH/e-checks, bank wire transfers, and PayNearMe. I wasn’t blown away by the range of options, but they included methods that I use so I can’t be overly critical here, although a PayPal option would have been nice to have as well.
I’ve used plenty of online gambling sites in my time and I’ve come to find that most of the processing times remain roughly the same. If you are using a credit/debit card, you’ll have to wait up to a maximum of 2 days for the payment to clear. Bank transfer can take as long as 5-days to clear. Customer support
I have to admit, I am a bit of a stickler when it comes to the customer service on sites like these. I for one need to know that I have the option to contact a helpful support team that is going to be available to help me with any queries or issues that need resolving on my account. So, my AmPlay review took a closer look at the available customer service on the site.
At the time of writing my AmPlay review, I found that I could get in touch with the customer service team via telephone and email. These are pretty standard options on most sites, but these sites often include a live chat feature as well. To my surprise, I couldn’t find any such feature on the AmPlay site.
This is a bit of a letdown, as I am personally not one for phone call chats, and a live chat feature is almost always the quickest way for you to have issues resolved. If this happens to bother you as well, I’ll politely suggest reading my

where I found a stellar (and instant) live chat feature in place! Otherwise, I’m hoping that AmPlay will add this option to their site in the near future, but for now it seems as though you’ll have to settle for an email or phone call.
The AmPlay mobile app
My AmPlay review wanted to look out for a mobile app that might be available, and I was happy to find that there was. And wouldn’t you know it, my AmPlay review found that you could download a mobile app from the IOS app store and the Android app store as well. The AmPlay app itself is a streamlined version of the site but it doesn’t lack anything that its bigger brother has. You can find all the same features in the palm of your hand, making your horse racing Playing as convenient as it can possibly be.

I have now covered just about everything that I wanted to on the AmPlay site but there are still a couple of other aspects to the site that I found to be very useful:
Customizable tracks
Something that I loved about the AmPlay site was the fact that I had the power to control what I saw on my account. What I mean by this is that I could set favorites so that I was only shown (or they were given preference) my favorite racing events or events on my favorite tracks across the horse racing world. You’ll be able to see all your favorite races on your favorite tracks that are happening that day at the top of your screen.
FAQs
If you are ever in need of some quick information but you don’t feel like chatting with the customer support service, you can access the AmPlay FAQs section. There is a list of detailed questions that will likely give you the answer to whatever question you have. I was really impressed with the attention to detail in the FAQs section and I am sure you will be too.
