Outlast is an app-only daily fantasy sports platform that took me by surprise. As you’ll see in my latest Outlast review, the platform excelled in almost every area of testing and is well-deserving of my astronomical overall Outlast rating.
Once you’ve downloaded the mobile app, you can unload a sizable new customer bonus. From here, it is then a case of finding the right contest for you and wrapping your head around the concept of multipliers. Although, if you take advantage of my latest Outlast review, I hope to cover that for you.
One of the first things that caught my eye when landing on-site was that Outlast has leapt into the future. Unlike many DFS providers, Outlast is an app-only platform that allows bettors to access their accounts wherever they may be.
Not only this but they also offer the first under/over survivor pool – something I plan to run through in greater detail further on in my latest Outlast review. In short, if you’re looking for a DFS provider that can be accessed freely and offers great ways to play, then I’m confident Outlast is about to blow you away.
While conducting my research for this latest Outlast review, I noticed that the idea was constructed by ex-Panthers WR Brenton Berson (alongside co-founder Ehimere Etomi) – no wonder the gaming options and variety are so well thought out! At the time of writing, I was able to place DFS wagers across various popular sports, multiple contests, and in various ways. For your convenience, I have opted to itemize the most important aspects, below.
The Outlast team is made up of various NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, soccer, and golf players or Alum, making it fairly unsurprising to find that all of these fantasy sports betting options were available across the Outlast mobile app.
Currently, Outlast offers its patrons three ways to play. Once you’ve selected your sport, it’s time to choose a contest that suits your betting needs. However, just before you pay your entry fee, make sure you are happy with the ways you can play.
Over/Under: The over/under contests are fairly well utilized across the DFS scene and are heavily detailed in my latest FanDuel review. At Outlast, I found the same approach to over/under was taken; however, they also offered me the chance to further my winnings with multipliers – something that could change my winnings from good to out of this world! To get started, I was expected to pick a sport and the games I was interested in before selecting over/under on each player’s projected totals. I was soon made aware that should I choose incorrectly, my game would be over. However, should I get three picks correct in a row, then I could look to claim my winnings or continue for a chance to enjoy a 20-50x multiplier!
Survivor Pool: These particular contests are exclusive to Outlast and have definitely helped to bolster the overall Outlast rating. Again, I was expected to select the game I was interested in; however, this time I was required to choose over/under on two players’ projected totals each day. Much like the above, if I was to choose incorrectly, I would be eliminated. If correct, I would move on to the next day with the chance to choose two more picks. When choosing to play Survivor pool, I noted three payout structures that I could choose from – winner takes all, 50/50, or tiered. The question was: how lucky was I feeling?
Purse: Now we come to Purse – the daily fantasy sports game that is kitted out for golf fanatics. Legally you are unable to wager on just one player’s stats. Naturally, as golf is a solo sport, I was intrigued as to how Purse would work. Turns out, it was actually all very simple. As expected, I was encouraged to choose the pool I wanted to play in (or host), select ten golfers that I thought would finish at the top of the leaderboard, and wait for the tournament to end. Like I said, simple. Once the tournament has finished, Outlast will add the prize money earned by each of the 10 golfers chosen and I would win the top prize if my selections had raked in the most earnings.
The Outlast new customer bonus may not be quite as lucrative as the one detailed in my DraftKings bonus review; however, there is no doubt that it serves its purpose well. For those who are new to the platform, Outlast promises to provide a 100% deposit match on all deposits, up to the value of $200. Once a qualifying deposit has been made, you can expect to receive your matched bonus almost instantly. Please bear in mind that the funds received are non-withdrawable until a 1x wagering requirement has been met and that a promotional code must be entered before making a minimum deposit of $20.
As I mentioned earlier in my Outlast review, the platform itself is available via iOS or Android app only. However, the website is the perfect place for anyone looking to unlock further details on the platform as a whole. In fact, it was here that I found a lot of interesting information about eligible payment methods, licensing, customer support, and how to make use of safer gambling tools.
Payment methods: I’ll kick things off by saying that you should have no worries about depositing or withdrawing across the Outlast platform. If you’re questioning, is Outlast legit? Then the answer is absolutely. Currently, Outlast makes use of American Express, Visa, Discover, Mastercard, Skrill, and Paysafecard, all of which are handled, processed, and completed through the highly reputable WorldPay platform. By simply heading to the cashier section of my account, selecting my chosen payment method, and inputting a minimum value of $20, I could fund my Outlast account almost instantly.
Licensing and security: As you can see from the above, Outlast takes its players’ financial security and the processing of payments extremely seriously. Alongside this, I also found that Outlast is adhering to the laws and operating legally across Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
On closer inspection, it became evident that Outlast went above and beyond the standard protocol highlighted in our FanDuel review, offering its users the chance to set daily, weekly, and monthly limits, time limits, auto-lock features on the mobile app, and various other ways to help keep their wagering activity healthy. The site proudly makes use of the latest encryption technology, too, meaning any details shared will be inaccessible to third parties.
Customer Support: If you made use of my latest Underdog fantasy review, then you’ll know just how important customer support can be. Thankfully, when making my way across the Outlast platform, I found it particularly straightforward to find help – no need for stress calls of “Mayday, mayday!” at all. Instead, I made my way towards the dedicated support section at the top right-hand side of the screen; although, I could have accessed support by clicking on the speech bubble in the bottom corner, too. Once loaded, I could either make use of the on-site form, call their dedicated hotline, or make use of the live chat feature. Support does note that 24/7 service is available; however, the live chat runs from 8 am-midnight EST.
On my voyage across the DFS galaxy, I am always looking for something to blow my mind. If you’ve made use of my DraftKings Rockets review, you’ll know the exact kind of caliber we are talking about! Thankfully, Outlast had no shortage of surprise packages, as you’ll soon see in this next section of my Outlast review.
Additional promotions: It was nice to see a platform that extends its bonuses beyond the welcome period. Over at Outlast, I found plenty of opportunities to add to my DFS experience, all of which contributed to this positive Outlast rating. I could refer a friend and earn $25 in extra points immediately, make use of entry fee multipliers, free play vouchers, and more.
Elite functionality: By this stage of my Outlast review, you should know that Outlast runs through an iOS and Android app only. However, what you may not know, is that there is also the option to make use of a simplified interface to help beginners get used to wagering on the go. As a seasoned vet, I only made brief use of the simplified platform; however, I can see just how beneficial this would be for someone starting out.
Cash-out: Much like traditional online sportsbooks, I also found that Outlast had its own form of cash-out feature and was incredibly easy to make use of. Once I had made my latest picks and paid my contest entry fee, I could track its progress. For every winning pick, an orange box would highlight on a seven-part ladder. If my third pick in a row was successful, a cash out would be offered, increasing in value at stages 4, 5, 6, and 7. Depending on your luck, nerve, and knowledge of the game, this could prove to become a very handy tool indeed – one that is not utilized across all DFS sites.
Once I had downloaded the Outlast mobile app, input my personal details, and provided some proof of identification, I was officially verified and ready to put the Outlast DFS experience to the test. Firstly, it was a case of selecting the Easy or Pro mode. Now, I was after the full experience so I opted for Pro; however, newbies should consider the easy mode to help get accustomed to daily fantasy sports betting.
From here, it was time to select my sport: football, baseball, basketball, soccer, ice hockey, or golf. As detailed earlier in our Outlast review, the Outlast platform is also home to three different game types – Over/Under, Survivor, or Purse. On this occasion, I opted to have a look at the standard over/under contests available across basketball markets.
Once selected, it’s time to filter through the games, players, and props – remember, you need just three correct picks in a row to take home your winnings. Anything beyond that can unlock various multipliers, generally ranging from 20x-50x; although, there is an 80x available on some contests, too!
Selecting the over/under markets was about as simple as it comes. Once I had chosen my player, I needed to click on the left side for under or the right side of the screen for over. Time to do this for the rest of my team selection, amend my entry fee, and click submit.
Should my selection have proven successful, winnings would have been paid out automatically. Outlast does mention that this can take up to 72 hours; however, based on my experience, it was paid out a lot quicker than anticipated.
Across the bottom of the app, I was able to keep track of my history, in-play contests, check my account, and make further deposits or withdrawals by visiting the cashier section. Personally, I found the ability to keep a track of the in-play contests and player history was a great touch and kept me in complete control of my wagering at all times.
It is also worth noting that there is a seven-stage cash-out feature, highlighting any potential take-home profits. For example, after submitting my $10 entry fee, I soon found that a cash-out of $50 was presented to me when three picks were successful. I was then offered $500 should 5 picks have been successful, and $1250 at point 7. The choice to cash-out or ride the wave was left very much left up to me!
Overall, I enjoyed the simplicity, uniquenesses, and control I had when wagering across DFS contests at Outlast.
When it comes to joining a new DFS platform, we can understand the appeal of searching for the best bonus going. However, it is important to remember that a good bonus doesn’t always mean you are joining a good site. To find out more about the Outlast new customer offers, alongside all of the platform’s additional perks, be sure to check out my Outlast review.
If you made use of my latest DraftKings review, you’ll know just how important it is to have a solid mobile app available to you. For some, as you’ll notice in my Outlast review, mobile betting is extremely crucial as it is the only way that bettors are able to access the site!
I’ve curated this latest Outlast review, in the hopes of highlighting the pros and cons of joining the app-only DFS platform. Here, you’ll soon find out about the enhanced site security, where to find safer gambling tools, whether the payment methods provided can be trusted, and where you can legally wager across the Outlast platform.
Outlast is home to a great range of popular sports contests, including the exclusive under/over survival pool. You can learn more about how this intriguing contest works, alongside all of the other fantastic perks of becoming a member of Outlast, by taking advantage of my most recent Outlast rating and review.
Much like the small print associated with the promotion detailed in my FanDuel bonus review, the Outlast new customer offer is subject to a few terms and conditions. Thankfully, all of these conditions are realistic and reachable, making the Outlast new customer offers well worth a look!
My voyage through the Outlast platform has unfortunately come to an end. I hope my findings will be of great use to some of you looking to find a suitable home to wager on daily fantasy sports.
If accessibility, safety, and enjoyment are on your checklist, then I feel certain that Outlast is worth a visit. The mobile interface has been uniquely designed, offering a simplified version to newbies and a slightly more intricate approach for those well-seasoned. A $200 deposit match bonus is also on the cards, provided you can make a $20 minimum deposit. Choose your favorite players from the biggest match-ups across the top football, basketball, baseball, and ice hockey leagues, or make use of Purse contests and select your top 10 golfers, before sitting back and hoping that luck is on your side!
