Follow the Mr Play moustache…
Few casino and sportsbook sites display a woman wearing a cartoon moustache. That’s true of Mr Play though. The moustache logo introduces a quirky site with a casino, live casino, and sportsbook to explore.
Dig deeper and you’ll find scratch cards, video slots, and plenty more. Guide your spaceship to the sportsbook and everything from football to basketball and through to ice hockey features. We’re going to orbit Mr Play to discover the best landing points, no matter whether you want the casino or the Mr Play bookmaker.

When I first arrived at Mr Play, the top portion of the site switched between showing me that famous moustache and the simple mr.play logo. The default arrival page took me to the casino, but the main menu at the top of that page makes it simple to switch over to the sportsbook. The light background keeps everything nice and light to view, with nothing too garish to look at. Even before moving to other areas of that homepage, I noticed a few famous slot games peeping at me from the bottom of the page. I’ll come to those later in this full review. We’re going to take a trip around the site, spotting all the highlights as we go. Discover every side of this planet with nothing left uncovered.
Whenever you take a trip into the ether, you never know where you’re going to end up. Fortunately, Mr Play does a superb job of guiding you around the site. You’ll feel the pull of gravity bringing you to various areas, from Mr Play sports Playing online to the casino. The main site areas appear at the top of the site, giving you a fast trip to steer your rocket to these landing stages:
Casino
Live casino
Promotions
Sports
There is a burger menu there too though. You won’t get any real burgers at this intergalactic outpost, but you will see a more detailed breakdown of the planetary thrills on offer. These cover various casino games, live casino games, and scratch cards in a dropdown menu. If you head to the bottom of the website, you’ll see yet more opportunities to access vital areas too. All space travellers want information on deposits, FAQ topics, Coinsing out, and more, and you can find links to all those areas there. The point here is that finding your way around this planet – even on your first visit – isn’t going to present you with any issues. Mr Play could make it into our awards (lab) for doing a superb job on that count alone.
When you step into our lab, you’ll have an opportunity to learn more about this fascinating planetary destination. We cover the Offers, the games, the Plays, and all the other topics you need to know about before committing to this journey. We’ll begin with the promotions – how to find them and what to expect.
The promotions area is marked by a gift and is one of four main menu areas at the top of the site. However, when you first arrive, you’ll see the Mr Play casino bonus just below the site logo. The welcome Offer offers 100 spins along with a bonus worth up to £200 for new players. The deal covers three deposits instead of only one, with the minimum deposit required set at just £10 to receive the first deposit bonus. You’ll need to double that minimum to £20 for the second and third Offers. You’ll receive your 100 spins in five lots of 20 apiece, spread over five days from signup. Each set of 20 is usable for 24 hours on specific games. The site has added all the bonus terms underneath the promotional panel, so you can’t miss them. They confirm there is a 35x Playing requirement to the match Offer. This increases to 50x in connection with the free spins.
To learn about more promotional opportunities, head for the main promotions area at the top of the site. There are filters there for the casino and the sports area, so you can turn off one of them if it doesn’t apply to how you’re intending to use Mr Play. The casino area only shows the Free Sweeps Coins, although there is further info about daily promotions, Offers, Coinsback, and other rewards underneath. We suspect you’ll find out more about those elements once you’ve become a member.
If we turn on the sports bonus area for Mr Play Playing possibilities, we can see an invitation to get a bet token when you join the sportsbook. If you Play £10 or over on a Play with odds of 2.00 or more, you can receive one of their £10 SecureBet tokens. They also promote the Battle of Punters and a PlayBOOST Offer. The latter sees you receive boosted winnings when you place a qualifying Acca bet. With each promotion, the terms are clear and understandable – and not in small print, so you’ll find it simple enough to understand them.
We must always make a series of safety checks before boarding our spaceship to head toward any online sportsbook or casino. We have a system to assess all sites making it into our reviews (lab). We’re going to put Mr Play through its paces here as well, starting with the vital licensing information every reliable site should have. The quickest way to find this information is to go to the bottom of any page of the site. Alternatively, you can check the About Us page via the lower menu near the bottom of their website.
In each case, we learn that the brand is owned by Marketplay Ltd and is incorporated in Malta. However, UK players should know that AG Communications Ltd powers the available casino games on the site. This company holds a license from the Malta Gaming Authority. Furthermore, the same company is properly registered at and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC). If you read the small print at the bottom of the Mr Play site, you’ll see they’ve made all the relevant licensing details clickable. Select the Gambling Commission hyperlink to go through to their site at warp speed to confirm the details.
Hopefully, you already feel as if you know plenty about this planet. However, we’ve only just started introducing you to many of the features you can expect there. We’ve yet to touch on some of the most important areas, so we’re going to cover those now. Rest assured you won’t depart for a visit to this planet without knowing exactly what to expect when you arrive.
Firstly, we can check the bottom of their site and find several relevant logos there. They’ve displayed the logos for Gambling Aware and GamStop, along with linking to both sites. Just above this, they link to Problem Gambling, an Irish site, along with listing phone numbers to contact that organisation and Be Play Aware. So, those are promising signs. We can also see a link to their responsible gaming page under the security and privacy heading in the lower menu on the website. When you select that area, a new window appears over the top of the site.
This displays a long page packed with information about responsible gaming and their approach to this vital topic. Fortunately, they have linked to five crucial areas, so you can go through and learn more about the protection of minors, account restriction, problem gambling, and more. Among the sections you can read about, they recommend and link to filtering software suppliers including netnanny, Gamlock, and Betfilter. As there is so much information in this section, they’ve used bullet points to make it easier to read. Time out, deposit limits, and self-exclusion information also feature. They’ve covered everything.
If you’re wondering about the availability of a Mr Play app, we can confirm there isn’t one. The site doesn’t carry any information about the mobile site, but you really don’t need any. If you visit on a mobile device, you should find the site adjusts its appearance. This means you’ll see the best presentation for your screen size and orientation. We even tested this on a computer. If you want to reduce the size of the screen – perhaps because you’re doing something else on the other half of the screen – you can do it. You’ll always see Mr Play in the best manner for that screen size, without needing to scroll left or right to see anything else.
Of course, if you use a touchscreen device, you can swipe your way up and down the pages and tap on anything you want to go to. We found the mobile experience was just as simple to understand and use as the main site we’d visit on a computer. The site did pass this part of our Mr Play test. There are no separate sports apps or Mr Play casino app downloads either.
We couldn’t miss out the banking area in our Mr Play review. Leaving out this crucial information would be like sending you to a planet without directions on what to expect when you get there. Firstly, we’ll guide you to the bottom of their website. You’ll see separate sections covering deposits and Redeem underneath the About Us section. Over in the security and privacy section, you’ll see another option to view the deposit methods. We think the latter option is the best one to look at to start with, as it shows all the Mr Play deposit methods complete with their logos. That makes them easier to take in.
Each deposit method gives you the available currencies you can deposit in. Since you’re in the UK, some methods (such as bank transfer and Klarna) won’t be available to you. However, plenty are, and these ones make it onto the UK pound list:
The deposit time is instant for all available GBP methods. Obviously, the Visa and MasterCard options are only available in form for UK members, as credit cards are no longer permitted. The withdrawal times vary from one method to another, with Visa and MasterCard taking anything from zero business days to six business days, with all other methods falling somewhere between those extremes. The good news is that all but one of those deposit methods is fine to use for Redeemals as well – the exception being paysafecard.
A quick word now on the deposit and Coinsout pages we mentioned above. Mr Play is clearly keen to make sure you never get sucked into a wormhole when it comes to finding information on banking methods. In this case, you can go through to either of those sections to access questions and answers about those topics.
If you access the main burger menu in the top left corner at Mr Play, you can spot the scratch cards area there. Select the arrow to open this menu. This includes seven areas to visit, all relating to scratch cards. The area includes classic, fantasy, and instant games, and while it doesn’t have tons of titles to try, there’s enough in there to give you a change from the regular casino games. There are some varied titles too, such as Queen of Diamonds, Coins Rumble x10, Egyptian Oasis, and X&O. We’ve completed many casino comparison reviews before, and we know that some sites don’t have any scratch cards to try. It’s refreshing to see a few of them here to change the view you’ll have of this planetary destination.
Just one click or tap from the landing page is enough to take you to the Mr Play sports betting area. It took just a few seconds to load – impressive since this planet has so much to display when you get there. As with the rest of the Mr Play website, you’ll see an orderly and sensible site design here. We’ve always felt the design element was even more important with sports betting than anything else. You’ll be able to try some Mr Play Playing without issue.
Whenever we consider a sportsbook entry to our academy (gym), we run it through a few tests. So, let’s fire up the rockets and embark on our Mr Play sports Playing test here. The first thing you’ll see is the category links on the left of the page. They’ve split them into two sections. The first covers all current major events – the ones you’re most likely to want to Play on. After this, you can scroll to read their complete list of sports. There are plenty of them, from popular ones including football and tennis to less common ones such as Gaelic hurling. Yes, everything is covered at Mr Play!
Also on the sportsbook landing page, you can see one or two promotions in panels at the top of the middle section. Below this, you can access today’s events, in-play events, upcoming matches, and highlights. You then see some of the most popular sports – often the ones with the most matches happening. Football came first with 659 events, followed by basketball with 80 and tennis with 61. Select any of these and you’ll see more about timings, odds, and other essential info. We liked the tiny chart in those panels, which covers statistics. A message will appear telling you if statistics are available for that head-to-head. If they are, you’ll see another window open containing lots of details you can use before placing your Play.
The in-play statistics are impressive too. Many sports have a series of varied bets you can place, depending on what you like to focus on. We picked a volleyball match, for example, which had match odd/even, over/under total points, and winners for various sets, to give some examples. And wherever you head to and however deep you go into a match or the statistics, you can always find your way back. Look at the top of the page and return to the homepage, the sport you’re interested in, or the event you’re looking at. There is no endless clicking or tapping to find the section you need. This constellation isn’t one you’ll easily get lost in.
When you arrive at Mr Play and watch that casino chip spin as the site loads, you’ll find you’ve made it into the casino. Just below the welcome offer, you’ll see a list of categories for the casino areas you can visit. The moustache appears underneath the one you’ve selected, with these available destinations to visit:
The featured titles appear as the default, allowing you to discover some of the most famous titles around. We spotted Starburst and Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead in the top row. There is a game search feature you can use at Mr Play casino, but you cannot see a list of the available software developers there. We can tell you that having researched more about the games at Mr Play, the software developer list includes:
They’ve got hundreds of games to offer as well, and it looks as though most of them have demo versions to try. As is correct for UK casinos, you must sign in or open an account before you can access any of the games to try or to play for real. If you select one, a two-step signup process screen pops up. There is also a login link at the bottom of that popup if you’re a member and you want to play the game you’ve selected. This is just one reassuring fact we can include in our Mr Play casino review.
Another aspect you’ll like is that all the new casino games feature a cool blue label with the word NEW in white inside it. You can see them all in the new section, but you’ve got a clear way to spot these stars inside a constellation of other games in any of the sections too. Meanwhile, the casino games area features all the table games. Think of roulette, blackjack, baccarat, and one or two poker titles as well. The focus here is on the roulette and blackjack, with several variations of each of those in this constellation.
One area that might trip you up as you get to grips with your spacesuit at Mr Play is the inclusion of the classic category. This often means three-reel slots, but our Mr Play casino test revealed that wasn’t the case. Instead, they appear to use the word classic to describe the classically excellent slots everyone will want to play. We can understand that, and it’s a superb way to spot some entertaining titles, especially when you first land there. Mr Play is certainly a leading contender for the best online casino title, doing well on game quantity, scope, presentation, and entertainment.
Check out our Mr Play sports betting review where we will take a close look at what the brand’s mobile Playing options are. After all, while many of the best sportsbooks in the UK will have taken the time to create their own Playing apps, other sportsbooks will merely make sure that their websites are mobile-friendly. Check out our Mr Play sports betting review. This will give you an accurate and up to date impression of what it’s really like to use this sports Playing site. All of our online gambling site reviews will aim to be as relevant and impartial as possible. This is more than can be said for some of the other reviews of gambling sites that you can find on the internet that are either out of date or massively biased.
What I loved most about Mr Play was the ease of finding my way around there. Having the various menu areas made it much easier to get around. I didn’t need to worry about black holes anywhere. I could always find what I wanted. As a tennis fan, I found all the info I needed on live and upcoming matches in the sportsbook. No need for a sitemap to get there either (although there is one if you want to check it out). I also enjoyed looking around the casino – there really are games there for everyone. I’d certainly recommend giving Mr Play a closer look.
